The phrase on the seal says, “Vivis pacem, mortuis requiem,” which means, “To the living, peace; to the dead, rest.”
Cool Guy Benito Cereno translated that into Latin for me, and if you give him money then I’m pretty sure he’ll translate stuff to Latin for you too. Latin makes things sound official.

So many spirits. So, I’ve come to understand that if they’re cute, they’re good, and bad spirits don’t stay cute. I guess they just don’t wanna be like the other spirits so bad they gotta look evil too

Oh so THAT’S what the little blue ones were, jellyfish. That’s cool and all, but… I may have wanted a closer look at the vine. This page, every panel of it, is still amazing though.
