“Wait,” you may be asking yourself. “Did Jordan name name this chapter a thing that technically doesn’t exist in this world?” Yes, yes I did. If you go back, anyone that’s already part of OGH calls them spirits. Ian just didn’t know any better. So the whole chapter Ian calls Trevor a ghost dog, and I thought that sounded better as a stand alone title than “The Dog Spirit.”

Oh, interesting. So how are spirits “born” then? Was Trevor literally “born” specifically to be Ian’s companion? I mean… he did appear the moment Ian became aware of spirits, so… aww, that means he’s still just a puppy. Oddly it’s… sorta like the vorors I talked about earlier if that’s the case.
