That is such a DAD move. Trust me, I’m a dad. I’ve done the dad thing for/to grownups. I’m also felt utter guilt over accidentally using the DAD VOICE on an adult. Yeah, you know the voice. And back around, he is so doing a dad thing there. “Junior I’m going to show you how to do this, but you seem determined even though you should NOT be doing it.” Actually I skipped that and straight up showed my kids stuff before they even THOUGHT or had a hint of a thought about certain things and showed them how and explained things.
